PRODUCTION UPDATE #7

Hey Gang! Not the most GLORIOUS update, but I wanted to keep everyone up to date with where we're at with production.
So things are still continuing, a bit slower than anticipated, but there's always progress being made!
We're in a great spot with all the fits, seems like those are all jiving awesomely! There are just two weight issues which have to be addressed wiht some Re-Tooling of two parts - The Tail Stinger, and the Mace Weapon.
This is hopefully the last hurdle of the tooling process, and then we'll be off to the races!
The TAIL STINGER needed to be addressed because it's weight (as one piece / solid) was 29g, and the weight of it hollowed (as shown above) is now 14.5g. So we were able to cut that weight in half baby!
This is important because we wanna make sure the TAIL is posable, but can HOLD its pose. So the stinger weight was part of the issue.
The OTHER issue with the pose-able tail are the smaller tail segments. So we're nixing the "Round SMALL Fit" and we are going with a new "Six-Sided Fit" segment. So in order to pose the tail, you will have to take the segment off, turn it, and re-connect it. It's not ideal, but it's better than saggy-tail syndrome!
The BASE of the tail (where it connects to his waist) will still have the "Round REGULAR Fit", so you can still swap the tail with any other of the other "REGULAR" fit areas - Head, Arms, etc.
The MACE, that guy was just insanely heavy... the wrists couldnt hold it up. So we had to separate some parts and hollow it out.
The original SOLID weight was 42g, and hollowed, it's now 34.5g. So we got it down almost 20%. It's still HEAVY, but it's going to hold up a lot better than it did.
So these adjustments took some time, are not perfect solutions, but will make everything work way better... they are just more involved with re-working the tooling, and another COST I'll have to eat, but lesson learned!
Hoping to have all this Tooling LOCKED soon, and have some updates on PAINT and PACKAGING soon!
Thanks for your patience everyone!

PRODUCTION UPDATE #6 (Part 2)

Hey Gang!
I know these updates have been SLOW and this whole process is taking LONGGGG, but I promise it's moving forward.
This isn't a NEW update, but more-so context for some of the stuff I've been going over with the factory the last few months. It's been a LOT of back and forth with the factory to get the tooling just right. Lots of parts that need to interchange with each other and all need to work with each other.
Here are some break-downs for all the pieces I have had to test fit against each other for the interchangeability.
There are the "REGULAR" / "STANDARD" Fits / Keys, both Male and Female, and these all have to work with each other.
So 10 different Female Keys to try against 14 different Male Keys, making 140 different "fits" to test out over and over again... YAYYYYyyyyyyyyy (I swear I'll be happy when everything is awesome haha!)
---
And then there are the "SMALL" Fits / Keys, both Male and Female, and these all have to work with each other as well:
So 8 different Female Keys to try against 11 different Male Keys, giving us 88 different / unique combos to test out... JOY!
There have been curveballs throughout this process in the last 3 months. Weight issues (pieces being too heavy) and tightness issues (fits being too tight or too loose) so all of that has to be addressed.
As an example - The original plan with Sting-Cobra's tail was to have each segment be posable and swappable with all the other "small key" pieces. But with the weight of the tail stinger we have to now give them unique segmented keys (probably 6-sided) so they can hold their pose with the weight of the stinger (which we are now hollowing).
The factory has been awesome and collaborative about this whole process. And my Production Partner, Chris, has been extremely helpful and a champion of making sure this is all as good as it can be as well, but it's just taking time.
Hoping to have some better updates soon, I just didn't want anyone thinking this project is sitting idle collecting dust.
Thanks everyone!

PRODUCTION UPDATE #6
– Mon, Mar 09, 2026 at 12:46:38 PM
HEY GANG!
You blink and dang near 3 months has blipped away... Im WAY BEHIND on getting you guys an update, but a few weeks ago I finally got MY FIRST PLASTIC TEST SHOTS BABY!! Here's everything I got:
So these are the very first pulls from the steel tools / molds, and it's surreal to be holding these guys in plastic for the very first time, EVER... They've always been 3D printed prototypes up to this point, so to get the ACTUAL PLASTIC TOYS is kinda crazy... I didnt cry...
So here's what Ive been checking out:
SCULPT DETAILS - the physical sculpts and details held up REALLY well with these guys, Im really stoked with how they came out.
PART FITS & SWAPS - There are a couple of fit issues we're working through on a handful of the parts, and I'll be discussing that with the factory this week. There are a LOT of parts to check out across all figures, accessories, etc... it's insane.
Some parts are REALLY HARD to swap-out / remove, and some come out too easily. Gota find that right balance so the swap features are fun, not TOO dangerous, or dont just fall apart if a small rumble happens.
Here are some more shots of all the pieces. The factory gave me two sets of everything to play with and test out, so Ive been doing that for the last couple of weeks and taking a bunch of notes. I wanna make sure these things are as perfect as they can be for everyone.
Did you spot any fun swap-out features? Or Sting-Cobra kissing Sham-Moo-Moo? GROSS!
As soon as these get updated, and Im 100% happy with how everything fits and works together, I will get everyone an updated "potential production complete date" and rough updated "potential shipping dates", so you'll have a better idea of when you'll have these freaking things in hand!
Expect some PAINT and PACKAGING updates soon!
Thanks again for all your patience everyone!

PRODUCTION UPDATE #5
– Fri, Dec 19, 2025 at 12:09:57 PM
HEY GANG!
2025 is pretty much donzo... and I got some of the best news... STEEL TOOLING IS DONE'ISH!
What's that mean? It means I'll have my first "Test Shot" of these dang things in ACTUAL PLASTIC in the near future! JUST IN TIME FOR THE FREAKING HOLIDAYS BABY!!!
We'll still have to check all the details, part fits, etc, and make sure everything is 100% good to go before we consider this stage "done", but the factory has been absolutely amazing to work with and seeing this part of the process "Done'ish" is surreal to me...
Check these things out! Here are 4 of the 14 total tools... FOUR-TEEN!!!
It's so crazy, these things look like science fiction metal puzzle boxes to me... I dont wanna my fingers near these things, or accidentally unleash Pinhead... I mean, LOOK AT THEM!
I know this has been a SLOWWWwwww process, and that's 100% my fault... my production manger and the factory have both been super fast and responsive, but Im the slow poke wanting to make everything was as perfected as possible at every stage. WORTH IT!!!
As soon as the tooling is DONE and the factory has everything they need to go to town on everything, I will get everyone an updated "potential production complete date" and rough updated "potential shipping dates", so you'll have a better idea of when you'll have these freaking things in hand.
Thanks Gang!

BACKERKIT SURVEYS ARE A GO!
– Tue, Oct 07, 2025 at 01:07:31 PM
BACKERKIT PARTY TIME!!!
The BackerKit "Smoke Test" went off without a hitch, and huge thanks to those of you who were a part of that and already got things going, so Im pressing the "SEND SURVEYS" button as Im typing this update!
The BackerKit will go through January or February of 2026. It's October, everyone loves Halloween, and the "other holidays" will be here before we know it, and I wanted to give people enough time to recover from that and have some time to finalize their orders.
Shipping wont be estimated or charged until closer to the actual ship dates, which will be closer to May / June of next year, still figuring out dates with the factory since we're still in early tooling.
SPEAKING OF PRODUCTION... I'll be sending out a Production Update with a better path to completion (milestones with date estimates) since Im so freaking far off from the original guesstimates (ALL for good reason, OBVIOUSLY.)
Thanks Gang! MONSTORRRSSS!!!!!
